About the Role

Location – Manufacturing Facility, St Johnsbury VT

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Reports Reports To: Production Supervisor

 

Summary: This position is responsible for performing and completing all assigned projects on time while meeting MMIC quality standards. All work must be conducted in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure safety, quality, and compliance. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

  • Complete assigned projects on time and to MMIC standards
  • Perform all work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Contribute to documentation development and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building trades and a solid understanding of shop practices and equipment. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical documents, follow instructions, and perform general shop mathematics accurately.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of related work experience
  • Ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions
  • Proficiency in general shop math
  • Ability to accurately use common measuring devices
  • Familiarity with common building trade tools, equipment, and techniques
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Ability to identify and recognize component parts by part number
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to perform construction installations to established standards
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Professional and courteous communication with suppliers, carriers, customers, and coworkers

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Practice safe work techniques at all times
  • Complete assigned work on schedule
  • Remain in assigned work areas during scheduled shifts
  • Follow all shop rules, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in clean, orderly condition
  • Participate in and provide input for the development of MMIC documentation
  • Complete assigned tasks to MMIC product quality standards
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Work overtime as necessary to meet production and customer needs
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

This position operates primarily in a manufacturing shop environment.

  • Work is performed in a production/shop setting
  • Requires standing for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by job duties
  • Must wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe, protective footwear
  • Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed
  • Exposure to typical shop equipment, tools, and moderate noise levels
